Sustainable Agriculture in Brong Ahafo
The SABA Project aims at building awareness among smallholders of the Brong Ahafo region, Ghana, on the dangers of intensive agrochemical use, and introducing them to more sustainable farming practices, for a better use of natural resources, an increased productivity and an improved resilience to climate change.
Our Mission
Promote Sustainable Agriculture in the Brong Ahafo Region
The mission of the SABA Project is to improve the livelihoods of smallholders from the Brong Ahafo region through improvements in productivity and competitiveness, reduced health risks and an increased capacity to cope with climate change. We intend to achieve this objective by raising awareness among farmers on the negative side-effects of agrochemical overuse and introducing them to more sustainable farming alternatives, that are respectful both of the environment and of their health.

Who Are We?
All members of the SABA team share the common aspiration to contribute to a better world for all. Currently involved in a Master's programme in Development Economics and International Project Management at the Paris-Est University, we are conducting this professional project in partnership with our university and a local NGO.
